Step 1: Visit www.zakat.sg, click 'Make Payment' and select your Type of Zakat (Zakat Fitrah or other Zakat Harta types).

 

Step 2: On the checkout page, select ‘PayNow’ and click ‘Make Payment’. In the payment gateway page, click ‘Generate QR code’.

 

Step 3: Login to CIMB Clicks app. Select ‘Scan & Pay’ and scan or upload the QR code generated,

 

Step 4: Ensure that the transaction is going to MUIS Zakat with the correct amount and complete the transaction.

Definitions

*What is Zakat?

 

Zakat is the 3rd pillar of Islam and is the determined share of wealth prescribed by Allah (S.W.T) to be distributed to the 8 categories entitled to receive it. Zakat as translated from Arabic means growth, multiplicity, fertility, cleansing, full of baraqah. It is an ibadah in terms of wealth and is obligatory on the Muslim who has the financial means. You can now conveniently pay your Zakat to Muis via CIMB Clicks Internet Banking. 

 

^ What is Wakaf? 

 

Wakaf is a sadaqah jariyyah (recurring / ongoing charity), a voluntary charitable endowment, from ones’ personal belongings or wealth in the form of cash / property for Shariah compliant causes. You can pledge your own Wakaf to Muis via CIMB Clicks Internet Banking as well.

Terms and Conditions

1 Zakat Fitrah is only enabled on CIMB Clicks Internet Banking during the fasting month of Ramadan from 12am on 1st day of Ramadan and disabled by 12am before Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.

Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors, and monies and deposits denominated in Singapore dollars under the Supplementary Retirement Scheme, are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation for up to S$75,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law.
