CIMB Singapore's Commercial Banking Apprenticeship Programme (CBAP) is a structured development programme, aimed at nurturing promising graduates who wish to explore a banking career in the fast-growing Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) market.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN CBAP?
 

Upon successful completion of the programme, selected participants will secure a placement in CIMB
Singapore’s Commercial Banking department.

 

You will actively engage and enable our local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to grow to their
full business potential through CIMB’s various banking solutions like our business accounts, loans and
financing products, trade finance products and more.

 

 

CBAP PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
 

The 6-month programme will equip you with the technical competencies, financial knowledge and relationship management skills needed to excel in the industry.

MONTH 1 MONTH 2 TO 6  

Structured Training & Rotation within Commercial Banking

Rotation across functions that work closely with Commercial Banking

 
Mentorship Programme with veteran Credit Analysts for 6 months
DURATION

July 2026 to December 2026

LEARNING FORMAT Hybrid learning comprising of virtual and face-to-face classes.
CURRICULUM 6-month structured learning (virtual and face-to-face classes), online learning, job rotations to various departments and customised mentorship with Senior Managers

To boost your career success, high performing individuals will also have the opportunity to be rotated to other functions within Commercial Banking Singapore or across CIMB Singapore.
