Programme Overview
Eligibility
If you have recently graduated and possess a strong track record of academic excellence, we highly encourage you to apply. This programme provides the resources and experience to launch your banking career.
Education: Graduates with less than a year of work experience at the time of application.
Academic Performance: A minimum CGPA of 3.25 or equivalent, or Second Upper Class (whichever is higher).

Our structured rotations offers you the chance to explore the breadth of a banking value chain. You will gain hands-on experience in following key areas: retail banking, non-retail banking, data, digital and design as well as governance and risk management. Tailored to your career aspirations, these rotations will equip you with a comprehensive understanding of universal banking and set you up for future success.
Retail Banking
Customer-focused role which involves serving the everyday financial needs of individuals and small businesses and contribute to the financial well-being of the community.
Non-Retail Banking
Non-retail banking deals with complex financial transactions and strategic advisory services which caters to the financial needs of large corporations, institutions and governments.
Data / Digital / Design
Data / digital / design rotation rotation will provide opportunities to work in various business enabler functions, where you'll contribute to driving innovation and enhancing operational efficiency within the Bank.
Governance
Legal and Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, and other key functions within the Bank play an essential role in upholding ethical standards and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Regional
Work on high impact projects and build a comprehensive understanding of the regional banking landscape across CIMB’s key markets within the ASEAN region.
As part of our structured rotations, you will gain invaluable regional exposure across our key markets namely Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Philippines. Connect with talented colleagues from diverse cultures and expand your global network.
In the final four months of The Complete Banker™, prepare yourself for increased responsibilities and leadership roles. Our focus is on empowering you to pursue and uncover opportunities across our various business units that align with your skills and interests where applicable.
Recruitment Process And Intake Details

STAGE 1
Application: Submit your application and respond to a few initial questions.
STAGE 2
Online Assessment: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in cognitive and problem-solving games.
STAGE 3
Digital Interview: Shortlisted applicants will complete a video interview.
STAGE 4
Assessment Centre: Participate in an individual interview and group case study presentation.
STAGE 5
Panel / Group Interview: Engage in a final discussion with a panel or group.
STAGE 6
Senior Leadership Interview: Finalists will meet with a senior leader for the last interview round.
