Cessation of SGD Corporate Cheque Book Issuance

 

Dear Valued Customer,

We will be ceasing the issuance of SGD corporate cheque books from 28 December 2025 as part of the industry-wide transition away from corporate cheques in Singapore.

 

What this means for you:

  • You may continue to issue and deposit SGD corporate cheques throughout 2026; cheques will be processed as usual up to 31 December 2026.
  • From 1 January 2027, SGD corporate cheques will no longer be processed.
  • Existing cheque books can still be used in 2026; however, no new SGD corporate cheque books will be issued after 28 December 2025.
  • Please avoid dating or accepting cheques dated in 2027 and ensure all corporate cheques are deposited by 31 December 2026.
