We’re introducing OCTO Biz, our new business banking platform for web and mobile banking.
Existing BizChannel@CIMB customers will move to OCTO Biz in phases. Here’s what you need to know and do before your migration.
When will my business migrate to OCTO Biz?
We will email you via your registered email address 7 calendar days before your scheduled migration. Please make sure your email address is up to date in our records and look out for our notification.
Your access to BizChannel@CIMB will end on your scheduled migration date, even if you have not activated OCTO Biz. You can activate and log in to OCTO Biz from that date.
What should I do before my migration date?
1. Download the OCTO Biz Mobile App
You’ll need the app for your first login, authentication and transaction authorisation, including transactions made on the web platform.
Download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store before your migration date. You can download the app in advance, but you can only activate and log in from your migration date.
2. Review your payment arrangements
Future-dated and recurring transactions will not be migrated to OCTO Biz. Review and save these payment details before your migration date. You will need to set them up again in OCTO Biz after migration.
Complete all pending transactions before your migration date and plan for payments due around the time of your migration.
3. Save records you may need
Before your BizChannel@CIMB access ends, download or save payment history, transaction records, reports and beneficiary information you may need later.
4. Check your mobile device and have your hard token ready
The OctoBiz mobile app requires Android 11.0 or later, or iOS 15 or later. Your device must not be rooted or jailbroken.
Keep your existing BizChannel@CIMB hard token available for first-time activation, particularly if you do not have a mobile number registered with CIMB.
