Notice on SGD Corporate Cheques

 

Dear Valued Customer,

 

SGD corporate cheques will no longer be processed from 1 January 2027

With effect from 1 January 2027, corporate cheque will not be processed by the bank. Please deposit all SGD corporate cheques received, regardless of their issue dates, as early as possible and no later than 31 December 2026, subject to the applicable cut-off time.

 

You may wish to use the recommended alternatives e-payment methods via CIMB BizChannel.

  • PayNow Corporate (UEN/QR) — instant crediting; ideal for supplier payments and refunds.
  • FAST — near real‑time interbank transfers with rich remittance fields.
  • GIRO — scheduled bulk payments/collections with file upload for payroll and vendor runs.
  • MEPS+ — high‑value, time‑critical real-time gross settlement.
