Updates to CIMB Clicks (for Singaporeans and PR only): Easier to sign up for the first time or change your password using Singpass Face Verification

Dear Valued Customers,


Please be informed that you can now perform the following on CIMB Clicks using Singpass Face Verification with effect from 3 April 2023:


  1. Sign-up for Clicks
  2. Reset your password for CIMB Clicks
  3. Retrieve username for CIMB Clicks

For New Sign Ups

For Singaporeans/PRs – You can now use Singpass Face Verification to sign up for CIMB Clicks. It’s safe, and prevents identity and impersonation theft with a multi-layered security approach. SMS-OTP sent to your CIMB-registered mobile is still required as an additional step.


For Foreigners – Get your Clicks activation code when your online application for an account or card is approved. An SMS will be sent to your mobile number registered with us. Create your username and password using the Clicks activation code at First Time Activation.


Forget my Password or Username


For Singaporeans/PRs – You can now reset your password or retrieve your username instantly with Singpass Face Verification, which is safer and more convenient than before. Ensure your mobile number is registered with CIMB before you start.  


For Foreigners – You will need to have the 6-digit Clicks activation code to reset your password or retrieve your username. From now till end December 2023, SMS the following to 75558 using your bank registered Singapore mobile number if you do not have your activation code. A Clicks activation code to retrieve your username or reset your password will be sent to you within 2 business days.


ACTCODE<space>last 4 characters of your NRIC/Passport No.

E.g.: ACTCODE 123A


Note: For Malaysian, please use your NRIC. For other Foreigners, please use your Passport Number.
