What is CIMB PayEasy?

CIMB PayEasy is a collaboration between CIMB Bank and SimplyGo. This card offers a S$500 credit line to customers with 0% interest for 3-months repayment. 

What are the requirements for application?

    Applicants have to be at least 21 to apply. Application is still subject to the bank’s screening and approval process. 

How can I apply for CIMB PayEasy?

You can apply for the Card via the SimplyGo mobile app. Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Activate EZ-Link wallet on the SimplyGo app
  2. Tap on CIMB PayEasy’s product banner
  3. Tap ‘Learn More & Sign Up’ to be routed to CIMB page to apply via Singpass
  4. Your application status will be shown, and you will be redirected to the SimplyGo app 

How do I top up my EZ-Link Wallet using CIMB PayEasy?

On the EZ-Link Wallet top-up page, tap “Switch” and select CIMB PayEasy as your source of funds to top up the EZ-Link Wallet. The top up transaction must be of in blocks of S$100, capped at S$500.

The top up transaction will be automatically split into 3-month instalments with 0% interest. 

Can I use CIMB PayEasy to top up EZ-Link or Concession cards directly?

No. You can only make top-ups to your EZ-Link Wallet with CIMB PayEasy.

Once the EZ-Link Wallet is topped up using CIMB PayEasy, the funds can then be used to top up your SimplyGo EZ-Link, EZ-Link, or SimplyGo Concession cards. 

Will I receive statements for my CIMB PayEasy?

You will only receive an electronic version of your CIMB PayEasy statement which is accessible via CIMB Clicks Internet Banking. 

How can I apply for CIMB Clicks?

You can sign up for CIMB Clicks with Singpass Face Verification here (Only for Singaporean/PR).
The CIMB Clicks Mobile App is available for download on the Apple App Store or Google Play. CIMB Clicks Mobile App works on iOS operating system 12.0+ or Android operating systems 10.0+. 

What are the methods to make repayment to CIMB PayEasy?

You can pay your CIMB PayEasy bill anytime, anywhere via the following methods:

  • CIMB Clicks Internet Banking (an existing CIMB Current/Savings Account is required)
  • Auto-Debit/ Interbank GIRO
  • Internet Banking from other banks
  • AXS Stations/ AXS e-Station/ AXS m-Station
  • Branch
  • Cheque

Are there any fees to use CIMB PayEasy?

There are no additional fees when applying for/ using CIMB PayEasy.

However, do note that a late fee of S$20 will be charged for overdue payments. 

How do I request a temporary suspension of CIMB PayEasy

Request a temporary suspension of CIMB PayEasy via the CIMB Clicks Mobile App or contact CIMB Contact Centre at +65 6333 6666. 

     

How do I remove CIMB PayEasy as a payment method for EZ-Link Wallet?

Please ensure that all outstanding balances on the CIMB PayEasy is paid off.

Thereafter, you can remove CIMB PayEasy as a payment method via the SimplyGo app and contact CIMB at 6333 6666 to terminate the CIMB PayEasy facility. 

     

After I have removed CIMB PayEasy from SimplyGo app, can I add it back as a payment method for my EZ-Link Wallet?

You will need to reapply for CIMB PayEasy by clicking on the CIMB PayEasy product banner on the EZ-Link Wallet Page. 

     

I just saw a top-up to my EZ-Link Wallet using CIMB PayEasy that I didn’t authorise. I think my phone might have been lost or someone accessed my account. What should I do now?

Safeguard your EZ-Link Wallet with either one of the following: 

 

  • Activate the 'Safety Switch' via SimplyGo app immediately, if you have your mobile phone, OR
  • Give consent to SimplyGo to suspend your EZ-Link Wallet within 3 working days if your mobile phone is lost and not retrievable

 

After you have completed the above, contact CIMB Contact Centre at +65 6333 6666 on the fraudulent top up amount and dispute.
