Protect yourself from scams involving your mobile phone

 

Dear Valued Customers,

 

There have been reports of scammers convincing individuals to hand over their unlocked mobile phones under various pretexts. In some cases, scammers may use the opportunity to access personal information or apply for banking products without the customer’s knowledge.

 

To protect yourself:

·       Never hand your unlocked mobile phone to anyone.

·       Never allow another person to access or operate your Singpass account.

·       Do not approve authentication requests unless you initiated them yourself.

·       Stop immediately if someone asks to use your phone or complete a banking application on your behalf.

 

Contact us immediately if you believe your phone, Singpass or banking credentials have been compromised.
