Three ways to add your CIMB Credit Cards to the Apple Wallet App.

 

1. Add via CIMB Clicks

Step 1

Login to CIMB Clicks and tap Accounts.

Step 2

Select the CIMB Credit Card that you wish to add to Apple Wallet.

Step 3

Tap on “Apple Pay”.

Step 4

Tap on “Add to Apple Wallet”.

Step 5

Follow the onscreen instructions to add your CIMB Credit Card.

Step 6

Read through Terms and Conditions and tap on “Agree” to proceed.

Step 7

Your Card has been successfully added to Apple Wallet.

Step 8

You can now view your Card in Apple Wallet.

 

2. Add via Apple Wallet

 

For customers who have the CIMB Clicks App installed on the same device that they're adding their CIMB Credit Card to.

Step 1

Launch the Apple Wallet app and tap on the + icon to add your Card.

Step 2

Tap on “CIMB Clicks”.

Step 3

Login to your CIMB Clicks App.

Step 4

Follow the onscreen instructions to authenticate your request.

Step 5

Select the CIMB Credit Card that you wish to add and tap on “Continue”.

Step 6

Read through Terms and Conditions and tap on “Agree” to proceed.

Step 7

Your Card has been successfully added to Apple Wallet.

 

3. Add through Apple Wallet (via SMS OTP or call centre verification)

 

Step 1

Launch your Apple Wallet and tap the + icon to add your Card.

Step 2

Hold your iPhone near the Card's chip to scan, or enter your Card details manually.

Step 3

Read through Terms and Conditions and select “Agree” to proceed.

Step 4

Select verification method through SMS OTP or the call center.

Step 5
Enter the verification code when prompted.

Step 6

Your Card is being added to the Apple Wallet.

Step 7

Your Card has been successfully added to Apple Wallet.

 

Tip

Enable push notifications for the CIMB Clicks Mobile App on your device to stay updated on transactions, promotions, and important account alerts instantly.

Step 1

Open Settings on your iPhone, then tap on Notifications.

Step 2

Scroll to find CIMB Clicks, then tap to open its notification settings.

Step 3

Turn on all options – Lock Screen, Notification Centre and Banners.

How to pay with Apple Pay

 

  • In-store
    • iPhone with Face ID – Double-click the side button and glance at your screen. Then hold your iPhone to the contactless terminal.
    • iPhone with Touch ID - Hold your iPhone near the contactless terminal. Then place your finger on Touch ID.
    • Apple Watch – Double-click the side button, then hold your Apple Watch up to the contactless terminal.
  • In apps and on website

    To pay in apps and on websites in Safari, select Apple Pay at checkout and complete the payment using Face ID or Touch ID.

 

Your details are protected. Every time.

 

Your CIMB Credit Card number isn’t stored on your device or on Apple servers. And it’s never shared with the person or merchant you’re paying.

This means your Card and personal info always remains private.

  • Secure

    Every Apple Pay transaction is authenticated with Face ID or Touch ID – all unique to you.

  • Safe

    You can see your Apple Pay transactions in CIMB Clicks Mobile app, and the last 10 transactions made on the device in the Apple Wallet app.

Which devices support Apple Pay?

How many devices can I add my CIMB Credit Card to?

You can add your CIMB Credit Card to up to 5 Apple devices.

 

How do I set my CIMB Credit Card as the default Card in Apple Pay?

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone. 
  • Tap on Wallet & Apple Pay.
  • Under Default Card, select your CIMB Credit Card from the list.

 

Can I add my supplementary cards to Apple Pay?

Yes, supplementary Cards can be added to Apple Pay. Each Card must be added individually.
