How will I know when is 3DS authentication required?

Online transactions via 3DS compliant merchants will require authentication.

 

If you do not have access to the CIMB Mobile App or Digital Token not enabled, authentication will be via SMS OTP.

 

Online transactions via non-3DS compliant merchants will not require authentication.
