How long is an authentication request valid for?

The validity period depends on the type of authentication used:

 

CIMB Mobile App (with Digital Token)
 The authentication is valid for 100 seconds.
If you did not receive or accidentally dismissed the push notification, you can still approve your transaction directly in the CIMB Mobile App:

  • Open the CIMB Mobile App
  • Tap on Digital Token at the bottom left of the pre-login screen

 

SMS OTP
 The One-Time Password OTP is valid for 3 minutes.
